Jeffrey Hent Smith, 62, of Miamisburg, passed away peacefully at home on June 5, 2022. He was born on May 11, 1960 to Hent and Julia (nee: Branham) Smith in Dayton, OH.
Jeff was a 1978 graduate of West Carrollton High School. He enjoyed watching sports, playing cards, and spending time with his family and friends. Jeff will be remembered as a loving son, brother, and uncle.
He is preceded in death by his father, Hent Smith and his brother-in-law, Ron Bedford.
Jeffrey is survived by his loving mother, Julia B. Smith, one sister, Barbara Bedford, one brother, Ronnie (Terry) Smith, his best friend, Stephanie Smith, three nieces, Tandrah (Jason) Hoefler, Alexa Smith and Erica Smith, one nephew, Zac (Rachael) Bedford, two great-nieces, Hayley Roney and Rylee Stivers and four great-nephews, James Roney, Owen Hoefler, Eli Smith, Jaxon Bedford. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was loved dearly and will be missed by his entire family. The family hopes those who would like to honor him will find a quiet time to remember who he was in your life and be thankful for the time you had together. In lieu of a public funeral service, individual families are encouraged to have their own private memorial at this time.
