KNIESS, Jeffrey A., age 47, of Huber Heights, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2005. He was born July 30, 1958 in Dayton, OH, the son of Robert L. and Theresa C. (Cole) Kniess. He was a valued teacher and administrator for the Dayton Public Schools, currently was serving as Principal of Orville Wright Elementary School. He was a member of Huber Heights Masonic Lodge #777 and a 32 Degree mason of the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton. He was also a member of the Dayton Liederkranz Turner German Club, Tri-State Judging Association, St. Peters Catholic Church, Dayton Musician's Union, and has played percussion with the Dayton Philharmonic. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Julia (Piatt) Kniess; one daughter, Pamela Sue Kniess; one son, Phillip Jeffrey Kniess; two granddaughters, Madison and Michele Kniess; numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by both parents and one sister, Theresa E. Kniess. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2005 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, December 22, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church in Huber Heights.
