Jeffrey Fisher

Jeffrey Lynn Fisher, age 68 of Kettering, passed away May 13, 2016 at home. He was born October 13, 1947 in Dayton to the late Oscar and Virginia Fisher. In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by his sons: Jeff Fisher and Kevin Fisher. Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Suzi Fisher; son, Garrett and fiance, Samantha; daughter, Michelle; grandsons: Will Fisher and Allyn; brothers: Randy (Laura) and Rick (Patty); two sisters; and many nieces and nephews. Family was always important to Jeff; his son and grandsons were his greatest loves. Jeff was a 1966 Beavercreek High School Graduate. He graduated from Sinclair College and Park University, and was proud to be a life-long student. Jeff loved spending time with his family, 5K runs, bowling and racquetball. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for 30 years, where he was a member of the 87th and 610 Mass. Jeff always had a smile, and his sunny personality will be greatly missed. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 12:30-1:30 pm. Burial and Military Honors will follow at Dayton National Cemetery at 3:00 pm. Jeff's family would like to thank the staff at VITAS Hospice for their loving care.
