Jeffrey Alan Ensor, age 65, of Dayton, passed away on June 4, 2023. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on March 29, 1958, the son of Donald and the late Betty Ensor.
He was preceded in death by his mother; daughter, Melissa "Missy" Ensor and his son, Michael D. McKinney .
Jeff is survived by his beloved wife, Kathryn Ensor; daughter, Kathrynne McKinney; grandson, Michael M. McKinney; father, Donald Ensor; sister, Kimberly (Jacki Grove) Ensor; grandchildren, Elisabeth Ensor, Eugene Allen, David Allen and Chloe Grace Banister; great grandchildren, Christian, Jr., Xavier and Isaac; special family in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; and many other loving family and friends, such as Pastor Wylie Rhinehart, Jean, Kathy, Pat, Linda, and Michael Grove, Ben Rushing, Big H (Harold Caudill), Tater, Larry Keene and John Leis.
Jeff retired from J&E Transmission after more than 25 years of employment. He was a member of the Pentecostals of Dayton Church for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed working on and riding motorcycles, traveling to the beach, bowling, watching airplanes and spending time with his family. He also had a love of History, Archaeology and Architecture. Jeff was a very funny person, with a heart of gold. He would always be there for those he loved, he was generous to a fault. Jeff will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Jeff's life will be held on Friday, June 16th, 2023, at 6:30pm, at the Pentecostals of Dayton Church, 168 Avondale Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, 45404.
