Jeffrey E. Nicholas, age 75, of Huber Heights, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.
Jeff was born on September 4, 1948 to the late Nelson & Norma Nicholas.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Susan; brother, Gary; and step-daughter, Desiree Seery-McCarley.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Karen S. Nicholas; children, Brian Nicholas, Rebecca (Tim) Bond and Brandi (Tony) Berner; step-son, Jan (Jina) Chrisman; grandchildren, Thomas Bond, Victoria Bond, Tyler Bond, Tesa Berner, Gage Berner, Gavin Berner, Jade Chrisman, Breanna Seery, Alex Seery, Chaz McCarley and Danielle Seery; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Seery, Emitt Seery and Jordan Moore; sisters, Karen E. Nicholas and Marcia (Rick) Zimmerman; many other relatives and friends.
Jeff proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He spent 12 years stateside and abroad with the military-including tours in Korea and Germany. Jeff was an avid Buckeye and Cincinnati Reds fan.
He was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa and brother. Jeff will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 12, 2023 from 2-3pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424.
The memorial service will follow at 3pm.
