Jeffrey Clark "Jeff" Compston, age 64, of Beavercreek, passed away at home on January 8, 2025. Jeff was born in Springfield, Ohio on January 25, 1960 to the late Harry and Teresa Compston.
Jeff is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Tim Compston.
He is survived by wife of 42 years, Melissa Compston; sons, Jacob (Sarah) Compston, Benjamin Compston and Samuel (Barry) Compston; daughter, Mara (Scott) Compston; grandchildren, William Day and Sigrid Compston; siblings, Todd (Erica) Compston and Shara (Dane) Clark; nieces and nephews, Joshua (Jen) Compston, Nathan Compston, Jordan Clark, Haven (Kaleb) Camp and Zachary Clark; as well as many great nieces and nephews.
Jeff worked as an appraiser in real estate. He was a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses for many years. Jeff is a published author and an artist.
In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family and being outdoors.
Jeff had a lot of wisdom and a laugh and smile you never forgot. He was a very talented cook and shared his knowledge with his family. Jeff was very loving and had open arms for those in his life. His affectionate title was "The Laughing Bear".
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeff's memory to an environmental agency of your choice.
Services will be held privately by the family.
