Jeannette E. Gibson, age 67 of Kettering, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 22, 2021. She was born August 27, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio daughter of Chester and Audrey Johnson.
Jeannette was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and best friend. She enjoyed scratch off tickets, pick 3 and pick 4, and spending time with her family. She loved to travel to see knew things all while taking spontaneous road trips. Jeannette was always available to friends and family at any given time to lend a helping hand and an ear to listen. She never held judgment no matter the circumstances. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Jeannette was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Fay Gibson; and her father Chester Johnson.
Jeannette is survived by her mother, Audrey Johnson, children, Audra (Edwin) Gibson, Delores Gibson, Chad ( Summeray Jones) Gibson, and Dustin Gibson; grandchildren, Jacob, Kirsten, Brooke, Kallie, and Jordan; great grandchildren, Isabella and Gabriella; brothers, Dave Johnson, Kenneth Johnson, Bruce (Brenda) Johnson, Roger (Jacky) Johnson, Ricky Johnson; sister, Lisa (Bill) Martin; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Memorial contributions can be made in Jeannette's honor to Newcomer Funeral Home to assist with funeral arrangements.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
