Jeanne Marie Stein

Stein, Jeanne Marie (Valiquette), age 78, of Kettering, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Kettering Medical Center. Jeanne was preceded in death by her daughter: Karen; grandson: Emile; and son: Robert. She is survived by her husband of 59 years: Richard Wendell Stein of Kettering; children: David M. "Mike" Stein and wife Kim of Brookville, John "Ben" Stein of Middletown, Laurie L. Creech and husband Ron of Laura, James J. Stein and wife Melissa of Spring Valley; sisters: Carol V. Watkins of Kettering and Sue (John) Botelho of Pickerington; 20 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends. Jeanne was a member of Church of the Ascension Parish for over 50 years. She was always a loving and devoted wife, mom, and grandma. Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, November 1, 2010 at the Church of the Ascension, 2025 Woodman Dr., Kettering. Interment will follow Mass at Calvary Cemetery in Kettering. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 31, 2010 from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. If desired, contributions may be made to either Hospice of Dayton or to the Church of the Ascension in memory of Jeanne.
