Jean was a 1982 graduate of Kettering Fairmont East High school, where she was the incredible pitcher of the women's state championship softball team. She was amazing on the field as documented by the numerous articles written about her and the team.
Jean retired from Dayton Childrens Medical Center, where she worked in admitting and made many lifelong friends. She went on many adventures with her husband Jim, and they were the life of the party and made everyone laugh at their antics. She loved to spend time with her family and friends, cooking for everyone was passion of hers. If you ever were invited to a holiday, party, or any type of get-together you were welcomed, fed well, and loved, there is nothing like a "Nace party". Jean loved flowers and being outside, she loved to watch the Cincinnati Reds and the Bengals. Jean had many beloved dogs over the years especially Benjamin Lee Nace and her current fur babies Kendall Sue and Poppy.
Jean had numerous friends throughout her life, who she enjoyed many good times with over the years, including special friends Patricia Dillon, Brenda Kremer and Keith Molz.
Our Jean – we will love you forever and miss you for always, until we meet again.
The family would like to thank Ohio's Hospice for the wonderful care they provided to Jean.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ohio's Hospice (Hospice of Dayton) or the Dayton Humane Society.
