Jean Marshall, age 66 of Huber Heights, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018. She was born May 13, 1952 in Post, Texas, the daughter of the late Charles and Ruby Marshall.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Charles Marshall.
Jean is survived by her longtime life partner, Joyce Lemke; sons, Anthony (Dawn) Getsfred, Bradley Getsfred (Chao Zhu); grandson, Colton Getsfred; sisters, Debra Marshall, Vanessa Cheeseman, Pamela Whittaker, Sandy Mastin; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Jean dedicated her life to supporting, teaching and mentoring others, particularly through her work, as she achieved her dream of becoming a special education teacher.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, OH 45424). A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am at St. Peter Catholic Church (6161 Chambersburg Road, Huber Heights, OH 45424). Burial will follow in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, and in honor of her love for pets, please consider a donation to The Humane Society, in Jean's memory.
