Jean Littlefield

Jean Littlefield, age 94 of Dayton, OH passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 10 Wilmington Place. She was born December 1, 1925 in Washington, Pennsylvania to Chris and Lillian (Palmer) Werner.

Jean worked for Main Auto Parts and Omega Oil in Dayton, retiring in the 1990's. She collected recipes over the years and enjoyed camping at Heritage Hills Campground. Jean played cards, watched tennis matches on TV and played Yahtzee with family and friends. She loved to ride motorcycles, her beer and wine and going out to eat. Jean loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.

Jean is survived by her son, David (Sharon) Thomas; three grandchildren, Shannon (Kate Butterbaugh) Thomas, Sheena Thomas and T.J. (Robyn) Atkins; four great grandchildren, Nathan, Logan, Kaeson and Kaelyn; a sister, Karen Duncan; her best friends, June and Ann and good friend Pearl; and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Deborah G. Atkins,: a brother, Chris Werner, Jr., first husband, Emery Thomas and second husband, Jack Littlefield; and longtime companion, George Probert.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the entire staff of 10 Wilmington Place and VITAS Hospice for their excellent care of Jean.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Jean will be laid to rest following the services at Bellbrook Cemetery, Bellbrook, OH.
