Jean J. Kelley, age 84 of New Carlisle, Ohio, passed away Monday, July 6, 2020. She was born April 13, 1936 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Albert and Lydia Cunningham.
Jean was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Growing up, Jean helped with her family's greenhouse, painting and wallpaper businesses where she developed her passion for crafts and painting. She also had fond memories of her aunt and uncle, Roe and Lizzie's buffalo farm. Jean loved crocheting, painting and going to movies. Jean was known for her feisty personality and will be dearly missed by her family.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Everett G. Kelley; son, Douglas E. Kelley; sisters, Betty Ramey, Shirley Martin and Sharon Cunningham; and son-in-law, Ronald Estep.
Jean will be missed by her loving daughters, Karen S. Donovan, Pamela S. Estep, Diana K. Stone; grandchildren, Margie Stone, Kelly Stone, Derrick Donovan and Erin Donovan (Dylan Johnson); great grandchildren, Kaylee Baugh, Caitlyn Baugh, Colin Baugh, Quinn Collins, Owen Collins, Maci Johnson and soon to arrive, Callie Johnson; siblings, Judy Hanes, Harold Cunningham and Dale Cunningham; and double cousins, Juyon "Doris" Hehl and Jeannette Spradlin.
Family will hold a memorial at a later date.
