HARPER, Minnie Geneva "Jean", age 76, of Kettering, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, August 7, 2008. She was born June 11, 1932 in Crossville TN to the late Dillard and Audie McCowan. Jean was a loving mom and Nanny. She is survived by her children, Charlotte (Pugh) Lewis, Bobby Lee (Cynthia Schwer) Harper, Michael Anthony (Kim) Harper, Lisa Kay (David) Batner, and Tina Marie (Jake Valverde) Harper; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; 3 brothers; and 1 sister. Jean was preceded in death by the father of her children Robert Harper; 2 brothers; and 1 sister.The Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 10, 2008 from 5-8 PM at Waynesville First Church of Christ (5275 Lytle Rd., Waynesville, OH). The funeral will be held on Monday, August 11, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the church, with Rev. Bob Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
