Jean May (Lemel) Haller - Aber, age 92, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Wednesday August 3, 2022. She was born on June 9, 1930, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Stephen and Katherine (Seiman) Lemel.
She was preceded in death by her late husbands Fred J. Haller and John Aber.
Jean is survived by her loving children Diane (Charles) Miner of Bow, NH; Fred (Sarah) Haller of Beavercreek, OH; Robin (James) Orzel of Middleburg Hts, OH and Jeffrey (Lisa) Haller of Canton, OH. Grandchildren Anne and Greg (Jess) Miner; Michael (Melanie) and Kelli Haller; Jason (Kenzi) and Joshua (Krista) Orzel; Jenifer (Darin) Hill. Great-grandchildren Benjamin Haller, Davis and Callen Hill, Wilder Orzel and Nora Miner. Step-grandchildren Tessa (Dan Pirolozzi) and Michael Waikem and step great-grandchildren Anthony and Gianna Pirolozzi.
Jean was a homemaker who enjoyed baking, gardening and spending time with her family. She was an avid reader and a member of the Book Club at 10 Wilmington Place where she resided. She was a former member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Parma, Oh and Christ Lutheran Church in Fairfield Glade, TN.
A Memorial Service for Jean will be held at a future date at Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted, OH where she will be joined with her late husband Fred J. Haller.
