Jean Marie Ashurst

Jean Marie Chapman Ashurst, age 62 of Vandalia passed away July 22, 2021. She was born in Dayton Ohio on February 26, 1959. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Ralph and June Chapman and her sister, Patty Chapman Fleshman. Jean is survived by her husband, Denny; her sons, Shawn Terry and Derek Ashurst; two grandchildren, Carlie Terry and Liam Terry; brothers, Tim Chapman (Dona) and Steve Chapman (Heather); sister, Cheryl Chapman Ramsey (Tim) and numerous nieces and nephews. Jean worked for the last 15 years of her life at Flex Bank/Navia Benefits. Jean's viewing will be at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel on Thursday July 29, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a service following at 7:00 pm. (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432) The following day, Friday July 30, 2021, the family will process from the funeral home at 9:00 am to Calvary Cemetery where she will be laid to rest at a graveside service at 9:30 am.
