Jay Anthony Carroll

Jay Anthony Carroll, age 67 of Dayton, passed away Friday, May 10, 2019 at Dayton V.A. Medical Center. He was born February 9, 1952 in Dayton, Ohio to the late William and Annabelle T. (Zaidain) Carroll.
In addition to his parents, Jay was preceded in death by his brother, Chris S. Carroll.
He is survived by his children, Theresa Maria Uzhca-Perez and Anthony Michael Petrocelli; grandchildren, Zachary, Joseph and Daniel; mothers of his children, Sheila Williams and Pamela Jo Petrocelli.
Jay was a 1971 graduate of Stebbins High School where he received the Presidential Physical Fitness Award, won a state Championship in wrestling and excelled at gymnastics. Jay also had won the National Yoyo Championship in his youth. Following High School he completed his certification in tool and die from Greene County Career Center. Jay was employed as a machinist for Dayton Reliable Tool. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish, Dayton. Jay loved the outdoors and animals, he enjoyed fishing and sports.
Jay wishes were honored by his family with a simple cremation and private memorial. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Great Dayton at 1661 Nicholas Rd, Dayton, OH 45417.
