CEMINO, Jasper John, age 83, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Born in Dayton, OH on December 29, 1924. Preceded in death by his parents, the first generation of Italian immigrants; father, Antonio Cemino, Calabria, Italy; mother, Lucy Vicario-Cemino, Benevento, Italy, and brother, Louie Cemino, Dayton, OH. Survived by his spouse, Sue Cemino; sister and brother-in-law, Ida and Albert Price, Dayton, OH; nieces, Mary Price, Dayton, OH, Louann Price-Scott, Beavercreek, OH; nephews, Michael A. Cemino, Laura, OH, Mark Cemino, Springfield, OH; great nephew, Michael Jay Cemino, Laura, OH; step-son, Randy Bowling and his wife, Cindy, New Lebanon, OH, and step-grandson, Luke Bowling, New Lebanon, OH. He attended Roosevelt High School in Dayton, OH and was in WWII with the 263rd Army Medical Unit from 1944-1946. Jasper was employed at Nabisco for 42 years. He worked as an Environmental Health Supervisor for 27 of those years. He was a member of the Foreman's Club, Dayton, OH, attended Union Institute of Tax Training, and was a Public Notary from 1963-1993. Jasper was also a member of the Southwestern Ohio Centre MG Car Club since 1988, American Legion since 1990, Jefferson Township Zoning Board of Appeals since 1990, and a lifetime member of the Catholic Church.
