Jannie Ione Savage, born March 30, 1919, in Nacogdaches County, TX to the late Robert G. and Samantha (Burk) Weatherly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Kenneth Savage and son, Kenneth Carl Savage.
Ione is survived by daughter, Phyllis Sabreen Savage of Santa Fe, NM; step daughter, Nadine (Jim) Campbell of Columbus, IN; grandchildren, Tami Lynn (Ray) Terry of North Ridgeville, OH, David (Ines) Savage of the Netherlands, Majeeda Sage Hakeem, Maya Naimah Freeman, Anton Emir Freeman, April Dawn Freeman, Stephen Campbell, Scott Campbell and Aaron Campbell; 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 10-11am at Miami Cemetery Chapel (6379 Corwin Ave, Waynesville, OH). The service will follow at 11am, with Rev. Cliff Haddox officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospice of Dayton.
