Janis Lou Turner

Janis L. Turner, age 75 of New Carlisle, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. She was born on June 13, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Orville and Helen Middleton.
Janis is survived by her four siblings, Judith Reitz, Curtiss (Diane) Middleton, Jacqueline (Jim) Appel, Mark (Patti) Middleton; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; her second loving family, Nancy Spencer, Polly Amspaugh, Rick Scherbauer, Scott Scherbauer, Chris Scherbauer, Doug Scherbauer, and Nick Scherbauer; and life-long friend, Jennifer.
Janis was a true, kind, and honest woman who always thought of others before herself. She enjoyed watching QVC and the Soap Operas. The most important thing to Janis was her family and her extended family.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Sunrise Terrace for their care and compassion, this year was the happiest Janis had been.
Celebration of life will be held form 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Friday, January 20, 2023 at Crossroad Church (9903 W. National Rd, New Carlisle, OH 45344). Memorial Service will be officiated at 6:00pm with dinner to follow. She will join her parents at Calvary Cemetery this spring.
