Janina Czerwinski, age 85 of Dayton, formerly of Elmira Heights, New York passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born August 15, 1929 in Poland, the daughter of Josef and Jadwiga Domanska. Janina will be remembered for her charm, quick wit, and zest for life.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Aleksander Czerwinski; and a son, Richard Czerwinski.
Janina is survived by a daughter, Julie Sloan; two sons, Marek (Pam) Czerwinski and Stefan (Doreen) Czerwinski; four grandchildren, Scott Sloan, Ryan Sloan, Amanda Sloan, and Allegra Czerwinski; and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous family and friends. Her memory will live forever in all of our hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, October 17, 2014 at 10:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Please visit www.newcomerdayton.com to share a memory in the family guest book.
