Janie A. Watson, age 68 of Dayton, passed away on October 21, 2015. She was born on January 20, 1947 in Dayton to the late James and Clara Utley. In addition to her parents, Janie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Inez and Henry McCleskey and her brother, Edward Ford.
She is survived by her children, Jawana, Kenneth (Kenneta) and LaShanda Watson; grandchildren, Christopher Watson-Ferguson and Joshua Watson; siblings, Katrina, Nicholas and Cynthia Ford; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Janie ministered and mentored many people that she encountered in her life. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing and most of all spending time with her loving family.
She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
