Janice Lynn (Lyons, Kaylor) Thomas, age 66, of Kettering, Ohio passed away peacefully Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. Janice was born March 21, 1950 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late Margaret Aileene and Wilson Allmon Lyons.
She is preceded in death by siblings, Debra Adams, Sandra Barney, Wilson "Buddy" Lyons and Wesley Lyons.
Janice is survived by her loving husband, Carl Thomas; daughters, Lesa (Bill) Larson, Angie (Vince) Sweet and Sherry (Cliff) Howard; grandchildren, Destiny, Brook, Taryn, Asher and Cianna; sister, Teresa (Gary) Siler and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Janice was a beloved wife, mother, memmaw/mammaw, sister, aunt, and friend who loved life, her family, her garden, computer games, and online shopping.
She will be missed dearly, but her family finds comfort in knowing she feels no pain and is free to fly high with her beloved hummingbirds.
At her request, no service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, please send a monetary contribution to a smoking cessation organization of your choice. The family thanks Hospice of Dayton for their wonderful compassion and care of Janice.
