Janice Rose Lute

Janice Rose Lute, age 79 of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born February 18, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Leonard and Clara Kibby.

Janice was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was the nicest, most loving and supportive mother and nana anyone could have. She was known as "Maw Barker" by all of the neighborhood kids. Her smile was like sunshine that always lit up the room. She was feisty, goofy and could always make you laugh. Janice had a strong Catholic background. She loved her friends and catching up on gossip. Choosing the perfect greeting card was one of her specialties. She sent them all of the time to friends and family members. She even kept a pen-pal for fifty years. Janice was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her mother; Clara Kibby; father and step-mother Leonard and Loretta Kibby; daughters, Lori Ann Kidd and Kristi Campbell; grandson, Billy McCarroll; and sister, Phyllis Miller.

Janice will be missed by her loving twin daughters, Valerie McCarroll and Melanie Davis; grandchildren, Ashley Cornett, Justin (Nicole) McCarroll, Heather McCarroll (Joey Vance), Christopher Dickens II (Kayla) and Courtney Wood; great grandchildren, Myra Hafer, McKayla Hafer, Jada George, Mahki George, Keira McCarroll, Adalynn McCarroll, Ian McCarroll, Kash McCarroll, Kali Vance, Carter Dickens, Daisy Dickens, Gregory McCarroll, Tyler McCarroll and Melena McCarroll.

Family will receive friends Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Burial, Calvary Cemetery.
