Janice L. Riber

RIBER, Janice L., age 58, of Huber Heights, passed away Friday, April 9, 2010. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Hocfbaum. Janice is survived by her husband of 28 years, Gregory A. Riber; daughters, Elizabeth L. (Matthew) Vanderhorst, Ashley M. (Michael) Elkins; mother, Mondas Hocfbaum; siblings, Kimberly Klepper, Richard (Vonda Norris) Hocfbaum, Jeffrey (Crystal) Hocfbaum; aunt, Joy (Floyd) Shoemaker; cousin, Trevor (Cindy Moyer) Shoemaker; nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Aaron) Slusser, Erica Laughlin, Dennis Klepper, Maggie Klepper, Tara Klepper, Lindsey Hocfbaum; great-nieces and great-nephews, Andrew Slusser, Victoria Slusser, Ava Hill; sister-in-law, Vickie (Ted) Castor; and many other friends and relatives. She was expecting her first grandson, Jacob Robert, in May. Janice was the perfect hostess both at her home in Dayton and her lifelong dream cabin at Dale Hollow Lake. She was the life of the party and never met a stranger. Janice was always the first one there and the last one to leave. She looked forward to trips to the beach and the lake so she could spend time on her boat. Janice enjoyed her retirement shopping with her mother, daughters, and friends. She loved decorating her homes and others. A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 10 AM at St. Peter Catholic Church (6161 Chambersburg Rd, Huber Heights, OH 45424).
