Janice E. Kourt, age 65 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2018. Janice was born in Dayton to the late Leo and Lillian Hayslip. Janice was a long-time member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. She loved to cook for her friends and family. Janice loved the ocean and the peace it brought her.
She was a loving, caring, and compassionate mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her daughter, Sarah Kourt.
Janice leave to cherish her memory, husband, Ted Kourt; children, Nick (Jayme) Kourt and Lillie Kourt-Mitchell; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Kaylin, Isaac, Ciaira, Oliver, Elena, and Sophia; great-grandchildren, Emma, Silas, and August; and many other loving relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 5pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Road, Dayton). A funeral service will take place the following day, Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 10am at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church (500 Belmonte Park North, Dayton). Burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
