MONDABAUGH, Janice G., age 66, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at home. She was born October 7, 1942 in Flemmingsburg, KY, the oldest of seven children. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Charles "Fred" Mondabaugh; her mother, Zenith (Porter) Brady; two daughters, Linda (Greg) Wourms and Lori (Dave) Baker; six grandchildren, Heather Wourms, Christopher Wourms, Cameron Baker, Allison Baker, Brooklyn Baker, and Nolan Baker; three great-grandchildren, Dominik Wourms, Makayla Wourms, and Cory Wourms; one sister, Cathy Miller; three brothers, Donald Porter, Danny Porter, and William "Bill" Porter; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Jeffery S. Mondabaugh; father, Randolph Porter; two brothers, Gary and Randolph Porter. Janice was a 1962 graduate of Stebbins High School and later worked for Mad River Schools. She devoted her life to her husband, children, and grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday, November 10, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Porter officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Gardens. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctor's, nurse's, and staff at Sycamore Hospital and especially to Dr. R. Mehta for the loving care he has provided over the years.
