Janice G. Depp, age 91 of Huber Heights, passed away Friday, June 18, 2021 in Wilmington, Ohio. She was born December 3, 1929 in Bemis, West Virginia the daughter of George and Verna Bell.
Janice will be remembered for her crafting abilities especially doll making. She was an excellent quilter and enjoyed needlepoint as well as traveling with her family. She worked as a cashier at Ontario Grocery Store in Kettering, Ohio for 15 years. Janice was a loving mother, grandma and GG Ma who will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her father, George Bell, birth mother, Myrtle Dove Bell; mother, Verna Bell; husband, William "Chief" Depp; daughter, Cathy Ritter; 3 siblings, Betty, Bill & George Jr.; granddaughter, Alicia Raleigh and her loving dog, Leah.
Janice is survived by her two daughters, Sandy Ditmer & Pam (Tim) Hawk; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; brother, Ronnie Bell and many other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be June 24, 2021 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with a funeral service at 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). She will be laid to rest at David's Cemetery in Kettering, Ohio after the service.
