Janice L. Alford, age 80 of Huber Heights, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at her home. She was born September 27, 1937 in Harlan, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Charles and Anna Hall.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James D. Alford, Sr.; grandson, Jason M. Cook.
Janice is survived by her daughter, Tina (Michael) Cook; son, James D. (Michelle) Alford II; grandchildren, Annie Cook, Katlyn Rojas, Mindy Alford, Jacob Alford; granddaughter-in-law, April Fry; great grandchildren, Savannah Cook, Taylor Williams, Andrew Fry; several siblings; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 3 pm to 4 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). A memorial service will begin at 4 pm.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice of Dayton, in Janice's memory.
