Janetta M. Pope

Janetta M. "Janet" Pope, age 58, of Dayton, passed away on August 10, 2021. She was born in Alabama on June 25, 1963, the daughter of the late Paul and Mary Burchett.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving son, Thomas Graham; and sister, Cynthia Burchett.

Janet is survived by her beloved husband, Stephen Pope; daughter, Stacey Graham; grandchildren, Payton and Elijah; brothers, Tony Burchett, Tim Burchett and Franklin Burchett; and many other loving family and friends.

Janet worked for over 18 years with Rubber Seal/Teknol Inc. She was a member of Englewood Pentecostal Church of God for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed going fishing and hunting with her husband. One of Janet's favorite things to do was to host Baby Showers. She took pride in making diaper cakes and buying clothes for the newborns.

Visitation will be held from 12:00pm-1:00pm, on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, where Funeral Services will begin at 1:00pm with Jerry Burchett officiating. Burial will follow at Willow View Cemetery.
