Montgomery, Janet age 76, of Xenia, Ohio passed away peacefully at her home with her daughters, Angie and Carol by her side on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. She was born in Beavercreek, Ohio on November 1, 1944 to the late David and Wilhelmina Coblentz (nee Shank).
She was preceded in death by her husband, David E. Montgomery; sister-in-law, Betty Coblentz; and brother-in-law, Robert Blakely.
Janet is survived by her beloved daughters, Carol Montgomery and Angela (Leon Jr.) Brewer; 4 grandchildren, Brandon (Chrystal) Brewer and Bradley (Natalie) Brewer of Xenia, Emilee (Frank Jones) Montgomery of Indiana and Sarah Emmons of Texas; 10 great-grandchildren, Aydan, Danica, Bella, Cara, Trystan, Keegan, Ava, Scarlett, Emma, and Lucas; sibling, David Coblentz of Columbus, Robert (Janet) Coblentz of Vandalia, and Roberta Blakely of Jamestown; and a host of other family members and friends.
Janet attended Beavercreek High School, where she graduated. She worked for Wal-Mart in Xenia for 17 years. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, family gatherings, and going on vacation. Janet was a proud NASCAR fan and would cheer every Sunday during the season.
In loving memory of Janet, contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice.
