Janet Mae Curry, age 74, of Dayton, was born September 11, 1938 and passed away Friday, January 18, 2013 after a brave battle with cancer.
Janet was preceded in death by her mother, Dorthea Hughes.
She is survived by her father, Clyde Hughes; beloved sister, Carolyn (Lee) Walsh; niece, Cheryl Kersey and fiancé David Dyer; great-nephew, Paul (Leeanna) Kersey; great-great-nephew, Aiden Kersey; her loving dogs, Jandee and Hemi; and extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 1pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Janet's memory to the charity of one's choice.
