Janet Marie Stroder age 71, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her Parents Harry and Ruth Nowlin; 3 brothers Harry Jr., William (Billy) and Daryl , 2 sisters Carol and Nancy, a son Napoleon (Nap) Brown.
Janet dedicated her life as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on Jan.7,1984. She had served as a Full Time Minister (Pioneer) for some years. Janet had been a member of the Springfield West and then the Dayton North Congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She had retired from Vernays Lab., in Yellow Springs, Ohio where she worked for over 27 years of service.
Janet is survived by her children, Kevin D. (Edith) Brown, of Springfield, Oh. Rodney (Valerie) Brown, and Wilbur (Veda) Stroder Jr., of Dayton and Cory (Aletta) Stroder, of Clairmont, FL. Sisters Miriam Terry of Houston,Tx., Geneva Nowlin, of Las Vegas, Denise Avery, of Dayton and friend Wilbur Stroder Sr. She loved her 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and was very fond of her host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial Talk will be given on Sunday May 15, 2016 at 5pm. Family will greet Friends at 4pm Kingdom Hall, 1530 N. James H. McGee.
