Age 67, of Riverside, went home to be with the Lord Friday, August 22, 2008.
Janet is survived by her husband of the past 50 years, Rev. John C. Lowery; three children, Stephanie Spaulding, John C. Lowery III, and Jim D. Lowery & his wife, Nicole; seven grandchildren, Rachel, Courtney, Meghan, Brittany, Sarah, Eric, Abigail; one great granddaughter, Hailey; two sisters, Victoria Shoemaker and Gloria Lowery; and by one brother, Michael Bauer.
Janet was preceded in death by her younger sister, Kathy Cook.
She and Rev. John recently started attending the New Life Fellowship Assembly of God after retiring their pastoral ministry at the Parkridge Church of God in Springfield.
The family will be receiving friends from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m., Saturday (8/30/08), at the New Life Fellowship Assembly of God, 999 Spinning Road, Riverside. A light luncheon will be served from 11:00 – 12:00 Noon. Funeral services will then be held at 12:00 Noon with interment to follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens, Xenia.
