Janet L. McCoy, age 77, of Dayton, passed away Friday, January 8, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born September 10, 1938 in Dayton, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Juanita Poulter; step-mother, Betty Poulter; husband, Richard H. McCoy; son, Tim R. Poulter-McCoy and siblings William Poulter, and Ruthie A. England.
Janet is survived by her daughter, Julie F. (Kenneth) DePhillip; son, Richard "Jack" D. (Alice) McCoy; brother, Dennis Poulter; grandchildren, Shannon Poulter, Kimberly DePhillip and Kenny DePhillip; and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
She was a very dedicated mother and spouse. Janet had a true passion for BINGO. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the funeral at 10:30 am on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 with Pastor Carl England officiating at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
