Janet Marie Hinton

Janet Marie Hinton, 56, of Trotwood, OH, passed away August 20, 2017. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on August 24, 1960 to Thomas Walder and Josephine Burwell. Janet married Anthony Hinton on August 24, 1987 in Dayton, OH.

Janet was a 1978 graduate of Roth High School, was a licensed Cosmetologist, attended Wilberforce University and received her Associates Degree from Miami Jacobs College in Medical Billing and Coding. She loved sports, especially basketball and all sports her sons played, and could throw down in the kitchen. She was a devoted and loving mother, wife and friend and will be remembered for her bright smile. Janet loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.

Janet is survived by her husband; her mother; three sons, Benjamin (Latasha) Hinton, Bernard (Lauren) Hinton and Brice Hinton; three brothers, Melvin (Lisa) Walder, Alan Walder and Clarence Walder; two sisters, Wanda Perry and Sandra Lanier; Grandmother Genevieve Thomas; special nieces, Darieth Lanier and Jameka (Anthony) Parker; special nephews, Trammel (Willzetta) Johnson, Chris and Antwan Brown; a special cousin, Taunya Payne; special friends, James and Kim Coleman; and a host of numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father; a son, Antonio Hinton; aunts Priscilla Malcolm and Mary Lee Walder; and sister in law, Sonya Marie Hinton.

Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
