Janet Lynn Derrick

Janet Lynn Derrick, 62 passed away August 5, 2019 at Miami Valley Hospital.
She was born to Savannah and Fannie Derrick. She is survived by her two children Jeaneen Johnson and Kelvin Reed Jr. Janet also had four grandchildren Tavonne Reed , Quincy Rone, Raven Rone, Devan Reed and a host of great grandchildren. She also had three sisters three brothers and she was also a loving aunt.
Janet was a Roosevelt High School graduate and at the time of her passing she was a Dayton Public Schools employee. Janet was also very much into church a True Believer in God and a very active and prominent member of Gateway Missionary Baptist Church.
Family will receive friends Thursday, August 15, 2019 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a funeral service will begin at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
