CORDELL, Janet L. age 68 passed away May 24, 2012. She was born June 27, 1943 to the late, Charles and Polly Dailey.
She is preceded in death by her sons, David Gilmore and Ron Cordell Jr.; granddaughter, Wanda Gilmore; and nephew, Randy Tullis.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Ron Cordell; children, Jenny (Brian) Weaver, Michael, Daniel (Dee), and Ray (Robin) Cordell, Debbie (Mark) Newburn; daughter-in-law, Debbie Gilmore; siblings, Gordon (Shirley), Faye (Bill), Sonja, David (Wilma), twin sister, Joyce (Dick), Linda (Woody), and Charlotte; grandchildren, Brandon, Abbey, Chris, Eric, Lori, Rick, Ray, Bill, Jessie, Adam, and Danie; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends. Janet was a prolific poet.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home – North, 4104 Needmore Rd. Interment to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
