Janet C. Koch

Janet C. Koch (Byrd), 60, passed away in her Kettering, Ohio home January 9, 2015. She was born, the youngest of four children, in Livingston, Tennessee on December 16, 1954. She worked various jobs throughout her life but took most pride in her job as a mother, wife and grandmother. She was tough and told you exactly what was on her mind but she also loved with all her heart and would do anything for someone she cared about.

Janet was welcomed on the other side by her parents, Victor and Lillian Byrd and an infant daughter, Sunshine April Byrd.

She left behind the love of her life, Daniel Koch; four children, Jacob Koch, Jason Byrd (spouse Kristi), Jillian Nave (spouse Michael), Sarah Clark (spouse Gary); eleven grandchildren, Devin, Jessica, Dustin, Michael, Jada, Tyler, Storm, Garrett, Jessie, Christian, Lillian; two brothers, Alan Byrd (spouse Melodie), David Byrd; one sister, Debbie Ewing (spouse Greg; a niece Toni Evans and nephew Matthew Evans and countless others who called her Mom, Aunt, Sister, Cousin and Friend.

A memorial service will be held at the Full Gospel Tabernacle church located at 8551 Ferry Rd., Waynesville, Ohio on Thursday January 15, 2015 at 1:30 pm. Doors will open to visitors beginning at 12:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations be made to Hospice of Dayton.
