Janet Gale Bryan, age 67, of Centerville, OH passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 16, 2020, after an extended illness. Janet was born on June 9, 1952 in Accoville, WV. She was the daughter of Jim and Lillie (Salyers) Cheek.
Janet attended Man High School, WV and later went on to Miami Jacobs Career College, OH where she received an Associate's Degree in business and pursued a career in Graphic Arts. In her spare time, Janet enjoyed riding her Gold Wing motorcycle (member of Women on Wheels). She also loved spending time at the Cottage in Brookville Lake, loved playing cards and going to estate sales. Janet's greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren.
Along with her grandchildren, Janet is survived by her loving daughter, Jessica Weaver, Daughter, Lisa (Matt) Brackman; son, John "Ben" (Renae) Hawkins; grandchildren, Katie Weaver, Faith Brackman, Logan Brackman, Ethan Brackman, Austin Brackman, Kayla Hawkins and Connor Hawkins. She also is survived by her 5 sisters and a brother. Janet and her beautiful smile will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Janet's family would like to thank the Hospice of Dayton for their compassionate and loving care they provided for Janet. They ask that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Janet's name to the Hospice of Dayton.
Janet will be cremated and a Celebration of Life memorial ceremony will be scheduled at a later date.
