Janet I. Bankard

Janet I. Bankard, a private individual who lived life on her own terms, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2025, at the age of 97. Born on September 25, 1927, in Dayton, Ohio, Janet embraced the simplicity of life and found joy in the quiet moments spent at home.

Throughout her years, Janet cultivated a deep passion for gardening, nurturing not only her plants but also her cherished abode. Her meticulous care of her surroundings reflected her dedication and love for her home, creating a warm and inviting space for family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Ellen and son-in-law Roy Roberts. She also had a dear family friend in Sharon Griffin, who enriched her life with companionship and joy. Additionally, Janet is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Janet was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Margaret Moler, her husband of 50 years, Myron “Tom” Bankard, and her siblings: Allen Moler, Mary Moler, Carl Moler, Corvin Moler, and Paul Moler. Each of these individuals held a special place in her heart, and their memories will continue to resonate within her family.
