Jane Schneider

SCHNEIDER, V. Jane, age 89 of Miami Township, passed away September 11, 2018. Jane was born in Ashland, KY and raised in Paintsville, KY to the late Charles H. and Olive Mary (Castle) McKenzie.

Jane is survived by her husband of 65 years, Gene Schneider; children, Sherri A. (Rick) Iddings, David M. (Joyce) Schneider and William A. (Alicia) Schneider; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and a sister, Charlene Meade as well as other extended family members and friends.

Jane was a volunteer at House of Bread, the USO and Valerie Elementary School. Jane worked in the manufacturing industry as a secretary for many years and loved reading in her spare time.

Family will receive guests from 1:00-3:00pm Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering. A memorial service will immediately follow at 3:00 pm also at the funeral home on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice at 7887 Washington Village Dr., Dayton, OH 45459.
