Jane C. Rininger

Jane C. Rininger, a devoted educator and cherished member of the Oakwood community, passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on May 3, 1938, in Dayton.

Jane earned her undergraduate degree from DePaul University and later achieved her Master's degree from the University of Dayton. Her commitment to learning and education resonated throughout her career as a teacher for the Dayton Board of Education.

Jane was a nature lover and an amateur photographer, capturing the beauty of the world through her lens. Her love for travel took her to many places, each journey enriching her life. Avidly reading books, she had an insatiable curiosity that extended into her participation in social clubs and activities, where she cultivated friendships and shared her passion for life.

Jane will be remembered by a host of nieces and nephews and friends whose lives she touched with her kindness. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, John and Margaret Rininger.

She will be dearly missed by all. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, please check back.
