Jane Alice Gilmore

Jane Alice Gilmore, age 78 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Siena Woods Nursing Home. She was born September 12, 1938 in Panola, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Mary Lula Rose.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Edna Grace Rose, Betty Lou Rose, Freddie Lee Rose, Ralph Eugene Rose.

Jane is survived by her husband of 58 years, Donald J. Gilmore; children, Shelley (John) Buehrle, Carol Gilmore, Paul Gilmore, Jerry Gilmore; grandchildren, Matthew (Lauren) Buehrle, Laura Buehrle, Kelsey Buehrle, Michael Buehrle, Mark Buehrle; great-grandson, Jasper Buehrle; brothers, Thomas Russell (Joan) Rose, James Leslie (Connie) Rose, Roy Douglas Rose; sisters, Ruby (Young) Yoon, Freida LaRue; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Jane was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was loving, kind and generous and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 10 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Burial will follow at 11:30 am in Dayton National Cemetery.
