Jane E. Weaver

Weaver, Jane E., age 86, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2012, at Walnut Creek Senior Living Campus in Dayton, Ohio. She was born November 14, 1925 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of Maurice L. and Emma (Hayes) Mendenhall.
Jane graduated from Shortridge High School in 1944 and attended Stephens College, in Columbia, Missouri. She was married to Charles A. Weaver November 24, 1971, who preceded her in death in 1984. Jane was a long time member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Indianapolis and worked at the Indiana State House in Legislative Services for many years before moving to Dayton, Ohio.
Jane is survived by her sister: Marcia Brown and her husband Jack of Ft. Myers, Florida; daughters: Marcia Clark and her husband Jim of Dayton, Cynthia Allerdice of Chicago; grandchildren: Ben Clark & Elizabeth Dow of Portland, Oregon, Emily Browder of Seattle, Katherine Beckel of Istanbul, Turkey, and Lindsay Beckel of Brooklyn, NY; and five great grandchildren: Elyse, Camille and Harrison Browder, Zackary & Emi Jane Dow.
A service of remembrance will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 11, 2012, in the Chapel at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 33 West Dixon Ave., Dayton, Ohio. Gifts in Jane's memory may be sent to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420. Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering, Ohio.
