Janavee Sisco, age 85 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born May 11, 1931 in Clarkerange, Tennessee to the late Millard and Emma Stepp.
Janavee was a member of the Brantwood Baptist church for over 50 years where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School and working in the nursery. She and Willard liked to travel, especially to visit the mountains. In her younger years, Janavee liked to sew and was a very good seamstress. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters.
Janavee will be missed by her loving husband of 69 years. Willard Sisco; sons, Sheldon (Marcia) Sisco and Jeffrey (Karen) Sisco; grandchildren, Gary (Sabrina) Sisco, Craig (Amanda) Sisco, Brandon Whitmer and Kevin (Traci) Sisco; great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Kelsey and Jackson Sisco; step-great grandson, Aiden Adams; sister-in-law, Rosalee Stepp and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel , 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432, Pastors James Risner, Paul Thacker and Pete Fee, officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
