Jamie Glenn Morgan, age 43 of Riverside, passed away unexpectedly on September 11, 2019. He was born June 18, 1976 in Dayton, Ohio. Jamie was preceded in death by his mother, Debbie Isaacs; father, Roscoe Morgan; mother-in-law & father-in-law: Louise and Robert Ely; and several other special family members.
Jamie is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Leslie Morgan; daughters: Shelbie and Rylin Morgan; brothers: Brian Morgan (Jessica) and Jason Morgan; step-father, Chuck Isaacs; step-brother, Nick Isaacs (Natalie); sister-in-law, Pam Boos (Steve); nieces: Brenna, Mayci, Allison, Madison and Morgan; nephew, Mayson; many other family members, co-workers and friends. Jamie is also survived by his best friend of more than 35 years, Chris Babb.
Jamie graduated from Stebbins High School, Class of 1994. He was a dedicated and loyal employee with Dayton Walls and Ceilings, where he had more than 25 years of service. Jamie was well known and respected in the construction industry. Jamie coached baseball and softball, mentoring many young athletes over the years. Above all else, Jamie loved and enjoyed coaching Shelbie and spending time laughing with Rylin. Jamie will be sorely missed by his wife Leslie, his person, the love of his life. Jamie was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, and spend time at his lake house with his "lake crew." The lake crew will forever miss "The Carlton."
Visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday. Jamie was an avid sports fan. In remembrance of Jamie, please wear your favorite sports attire to the visitation. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to any Wright-Patt Credit Union, in care of Shelbie Morgan and Rylin Morgan for their future educations.
