James E. Wooton

James E. Wooton, age 77 of Fairborn, passed away November 18, 2024 at his home. He was born October 3, 1947 in Combs, Kentucky to the late Elbert and Carolyn Wooton. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 46 years, Leila Wooton.

James is survived by his daughters, Tammy Adkins and Jackie Cridlin; siblings, Jeff (Lori) Wooton, Raleigh (Theresa) Wooton and Jack Wooton; grandchildren, Amanda (Jared) Minton, Carolyn Adkins, Darrell Grieser, Tayler Cridlin and Abby Cridlin (Jared Saunders); great grandchildren, Alyssa (Kyler) Davis, Cole Minton, Carter Minton, Ava Johnston, Marley Creech, Zac Djahra and Sabrina Djahra; great great granddaughter, June Davis and host of nieces, nephews and cousins. 

James was a lifelong member of Wright View Nazarene Church of Fairborn. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local Toys for Tots.

Private Services will be held for the family.
