James Wood, age 85 of Fairborn, OH, passed away February 11, 2013. James was born in Youngstown, OH to the late James McGinley and Elizabeth Gibson.
James proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and Air Force for 21 years. He worked at NCR for 20 years. He was a loving father and husband and we will miss him greatly. James loved dogs and spent time in the military training them for duty in the Vietnam War. It was one of his greatest joys.
He is preceded in death by his son Jimmy John Wood.
James is survived by his wife, Marlene Wood; daughters, Jeri (Dan Herrig) Wood, Tracy (Rick) Schoby, Amanda Stoverross; son, Adam (Rebecca Stover); grandchildren Elizabeth, Hayden, Wesley, Joseph; and many other loving relatives and friends.
