James W. Lee, Sr.
Age 82, of Dayton, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, June 18, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Leona T. Jones; four sisters and two brothers.
Jim is survived by his wife of the past 57 years, Betty L. Lee; one son, James David & his wife, Melissa Lee; two grandsons, James Devin & his fiancé, Rachael and Derek; sister-in-law, Ruth; niece, Joy; and by his extended family & many good friends.
Jim was a former member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and he was a WW II U. S. Army veteran.
The family would like to thank The Hospice Dayton for the care they provided to Jim and especially to Craig, Cassandra, Julie & Jan.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 22, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
