James A. Trimble, age 72, passed away Saturday, June 4, at The Hospice of Dayton surrounded by his wife and family after a long bout with cancer. He is now at rest in the Lord. He is preceded in death by his father, Wesley Trimble; mother, Ester Trimble and two sisters, Mary Harmon and Betty Morris. He leaves behind Carol, his beloved wife of 40 years; son, James M. Trimble (and wife Sandi), daughter Rhonda Bowden (and husband Doug); 2 grandsons, Michael & Eric, all of Jacksonville, FL; one brother, John Trimble (and wife Anita) of Texas; two sisters, Margaret Oaks (and husband Hugh) of St. Petersburg, FL, Jean Smidth (and husband Bill) of Chicago, IL and numerous nieces and nephews.
Reverend William McFarland and Reverand Mathew McFarland will be officiating the services. Family will receive friends at Newcomer Funeral Home in Beavercreek from 5:00 to 8:00 on Wednesday, June 8. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 9 at 10:30.
